Termite damage found during a Gold Coast Building and Pest Inspection. David Ryan found this damage at a townhouse in Coombabah. The damage was caused from water penetration into the roof area due to debris in the gutters. Water is the main contributor for termites. If regular checks were carried out this could have been prevented.

To repair this damage would require removal of plaster, assessing and rectifying all damaged timber, re-installation of all tie down certification of framework, new plaster, resetting and repainting.
